Where To Get BNotes

A “cambio” is a money exchange, and we adopted the term for our BNote exchange locations. Most of these are merchant-run, and the BNote Team will also be running a cambio when we are set up at local events. The first BNote cambios began exchange on April 18th, 2011, the day after the official BNote launch.

You can exchange dollars for BNotes at any cambio, and every $10 gets you 11 BNotes (BN11), a 10% bonus on initial exchange. BNotes may also be exchanged for dollars at the reverse rate, although users are encouraged to keep them circulating to benefit small merchants and the local economy!  Worn BNotes may also be exchanged at cambios for new ones.

I am a Poe fan who lives out of state but would like to purchase a few of the B-NOTES dedicated to Mr. Poe for my collection. Any chance these will be available by mail?

We’re planning to offer a limited number of BNotes for out-of-state collectors. We’ll contact you directly to arrange an exchange.
